About Ashdown Participant Registration

 •
Each school may only pre-register a maximum of five participants in the Avery Ashdown Qualifying Examination for the United States National Chemistry Olympiad. The entire registration process is free, but required.
 •
Each school may pre-register one alternate, in the event that one of the registered participants is unable to participate for any reason on the day of the exam. After entering five participants, you will be given the opportunity to enter one alternate.
 •
Participants (and alternates) will receive email at the address(s) entered by the teacher with instructions to complete their registration (parent/guardian, home address, etc). Please make certain the email addresses used are valid outside the domain of the district. Note: the teacher will also receive copies of these instructional email messages.
 •
Participants must complete the registration process with additional required information to be able to compete. Teachers: please check with your participants to make certain each has received the pre-registration verification email.
 •
The testing platform for the 2024 Ashdown exam has not yet been established. NESACS is seeking a secure digital testing platform for 2024. There will be two Ashdown Date/Time sittings; participants must choose one, and may only sit for one of the two settings:
 •
Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 7:00 to 8:50 PM ET.
 •
Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:50 AM ET.
 •
Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:50 PM ET.
 •
Teachers and Participants must login to view a list of registered and pre-registered participants.
